BIOGRAPHY

Cordila “Cor” Jochim is a resilient and inspiring figure whose life has been marked by profound personal and spiritual transformations. She has navigated significant challenges, including health crises, personal losses, and professional setbacks, with a deep and abiding faith in God. Her journey of faith is the cornerstone of her mission to help others find healing and transformation through spiritual growth.

At 7-years-old, Cor fell out of a two-story window holding her baby brother and sustained the first of two traumatic brain injuries that colored her experiences from that day forward. Despite the headwind of a debilitating physical condition, Cor attended WSU for a BA in Communications and then received a scholarship to attend the University of Bonn in her mother’s home country of Germany. There she received a second major in German Language and Literature and held several internships including for the Deutsche Bundestag (the German Federal Government).

In her varied and storied career, Cor worked in fashion, finance, tech, and film as an actor/writer/producer in Hollywood; the founder of Thickskin, a luxury, award-winning leather handbag company; as a business and brand strategist for startups to Fortune 5 through her strategy company CORHOUSE; the founder of Quollective, a funded iPhone app for quotes; the leader and co-founder respectively of global women’s leadership movement chapters Lean In Seattle and Lean In Women Veterans; motivational speaker to the military, government, corporations and leadership teams across the nation; VP of Global Expansion for Angel Studios and the woman who led the first international summit for Angel Studio’s Original The Chosen in Rome, Italy.

In 2015, Cor had an encounter with God that changed her life, which she captured in her 2020 book entitled From the Core: A Spiritual Journey of Losing Everything and Finding Hope. A year after it’s release, she left for Rome with The Chosen. While there, she took ill and when the entire team left to return to the states, Cor didn’t make it home.

But if The Chosen introduced Cor to the global church, spending a year in Rome introduced her to the ancient one. Mirroring the life of (St.) Paul who was also home-bound while on house arrest in Rome, Cor’s apartment became an epicenter in which the global church gathered to pray, praise and inspire and encourage each other forward.

After receiving a vision to heal the broken and infuse them with hope on a global scale, Cor returned home to remake her company CORHOUSE into a creative production studio. CORHOUSE now creates content, products and experiences to support those courageous enough to say yes to following Jesus and embrace the rigorous and yet totally glorious spiritual transformation journey that awaits all those who say yes to God.

Cor lives in Spokane, Washington and holds a 10-year vision for CORHOUSE that includes a return to Rome.

MISSION

To drive transformation in an entire generation.

Cordila's mission is to guide others through their own spiritual transformations, helping them to overcome personal blocks and live out their divine commission. She aims to reach a global audience with her message of hope, resilience, and spiritual growth.

THE METHOD

To develop practical tools that bridge the gap between finding faith and living whole.

Cor was dramatically impacted by Dr. George Barna's book Maximum Faith: Live Like Jesus. In it, he conducted 15,000 telephone surveys and, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis, surveyed those in the process of spiritual transformation. The outcome of the research solidified the premise that while the specifics of the journey were unique to each individual, the process itself was universal. God is a strategic God. When he transforms a life, the journey is predictable. Barna named the process the 10-Stop Journey, which took people from Unaware of Sin (Stop 1) to having a deep Love of People (Stop 10) and everyplace in between. While knowing there is a process and God has a plan is exciting, the results of the survey are not. Only 11% of Christians who are spiritually transforming make it past Stop 5, Saved and Engaged in Church Activities. Stop 6 is where faith gets hard and that, unfortunately, is where most people stop, become angry at God, and, quite often, fall off.

Determined to be in the 11% but also drive the transformation process in others, Cor developed the following methodology to engage people in the spiritual transformation and do everything possible to get them past Stop 5:

GOALS in ACTION:

1.  Create a guide to the journey that builds identity intelligence in Christ. (Stops 1-5) (fromthecore.global)

2. Train to battle through hardship with immersive experiences. (Stops 6-8)

3. Equip for mission and commission in a collective environment. (Stops 8 & 9)

4. Send out in community to bring salt, light and hope to the world (Matthew 5:13-16) . (Stop 10)

I am a BIG Cor-fan!
